ONE DAY JOINT SEMINAR WITH MIKRO SDN BHD

PEMA with the support of MIKRO Sdn Bhd a One Day joint Seminar at the AC Hotel Marriot by Penang on 11th October 2022. There were Four topics of which the first topic, Protection Relays was conducted by speakers from MIKRO Sdn Bhd headed by Technical Application Manager - Ir. Chan Yaw Seng. The second topic, Busduct system with temperature was conducted by Mr. Marco Liu, Executive Director in EPE Busway Sdn. Bhd & the third topic Mikrosafe Energy Monitoring System was conducted by Ir. Tay Siang Hui, Executive Director in Mikro Sdn Bhd. And the last topic Power Factor Regulator and Application was conducted by Mr Ng Tong Heng , Technical Support Engineer in Mikro Sdn Bhd.

The seminar will provide the participants a general knowledge of the protection relays and power factor regulator, in an in-depth understanding of the Protection product range. Hence, this also can be link with sophisticated Mikrosafe's protection & metering software which works as a Energy Management Syetem(EMS). Furthermore, it also will be covering to protect and work as a temperature sensor for the busduct in the electric distribution channels. Detailed product guideline and software features will be explained, using dedicated demo-kit demonstration.

The response to the seminar was encouraging with 60 participants. CIDB and the Board of Engineers have approved the seminar for CCD points and CPD hours respectively.
