ONE DAY SEMINAR ON LOW VOLTAGE SWITCHGEAR : DESIGN & CALCULATION

The Penang Electrical Merchants’ Association (PEMA), with the support of Himel Sdn Bhd organized a seminar on Low Voltage Switchgear: Design & Calculation at Eastern & Oriental Hotel, Penang on 25th February 2025. The organizing chairman was PEMA Technical Committee Chairman, Ir. Ong Beng Siong. The short course covered low voltage switchgear is one of the significant piece of equipment utilized for power distribution in the electrical systems and is connected to all types loads (industrial process or building power). The objective of this device is to combine all of the protection devices for the electrical system into one enclosure. Himel is a global manufacturer and provider of robust, reliable and safe electrical products. Our mission is to make efficient and reliable power easily accessible to people, wherever they are-home, office, industrial or commercial facility. The Speakers was Jason G. Sonido, Lv Business Development Assistant Manager, Sea-Himel. The response to the seminar was encouraging with about 50 participants taking part. The seminar has 10 CIDB CCD points and 7 BEM CPD hours. The course was also HRDF claimable.
